Ice Fishin with my boys

Last weekend Cory took me and the boys out on the ice to do some ice fishin over to Otter Creek. The weather was super nice. We got there aroung noon and fished until 4:30. Short trip for Cory but long enough for us!

We took our dog Jasmine and she was a natural out on the ice. She wasn't so sure of the fish flopping around on the ice though

Jaxon had a blast! He caught 3 fish all by himself. First time luck?

Christmas 2011

We had a great christmas. We hauled everything up to Delta and celebrated christmas there. We ice skated and sledded on the ice on christmas eve.

Christmas morning is always such an exciting time. The boys are so much fun!

Stocking were always my favorite when I was little! All this fun stuff packed into a giant sock. Who would not love that?

The monday after we partied with the Rogers Fam... This is everyone with 2 more on the way!!!

Saturday we went down to Tuachan with Cory's brothers and their families.

We saw Santa and gots some cute pics and told him what we wanted for christmas....

They show a live Nativity with camels and Mary rode in on a donkey.

To finish off the night we took a wagon ride around and looked at all the lights. It was a blast and totally gets you in the mood for christmas!

Yeah! I love Halloween and I was so excited that it was a week day of work so we could dress up at work. These are some of the girls I work with at the Dentist office. We decided to be witches a couple days before and I think we look great!

Goodbye to an Awesome Grandpa

A couple weeks ago my grandpa Allred seemed to not be doing well so we gathered together at his house to spend some time with him. This is my older brother Von, my dad, my younger brother Neil and my Grandpa.

This is my dads sister Gloria and my dad and mom. We got to share some fun memories and precious moments holding hands with him. He passed away that night and was reunited with his sweetheart wife and son Roger. I was so grateful for being able to see him before he passed and when i left to come back to Cedar I gave him a hug and he told me he would see me again.

He had served in the military and had a beautiful tribute to his life he had lived. Cory was a pall bearer along with my brothers and cousins. We will all miss him. I am very proud to be his grand daughter!

Ha ha...its just a Girl Dog!! We got a new dog a few weeks ago. She is a Siberian Husky that is 5 years old and her name is Jasmine. We fell in love with her on the internet and were able to adopt her.

She has escaped a few times but has found her way home. Excellent with kids! The boys love love her but she went into heat a week or so ago and has really tested us. We are having her spayed today to see if that takes care of the problem.

Friend Campout

This past weekend we went camping with friends up to the Tophams cabin. We had such blast. 5 couples and 17 kids between all of us.

We had great food and roasted mallows around the fire.

We had so much fun hanging out and playing games...even if the girls didn't win...there's always next time!!!

Its so crazy that the kids are getting old enough to just go play their own games. I LOVE IT!!

Cruisin the Carribean 2011

The first week of June we went on an amazing cruise adventure with our friends, Chad and Meladie and Rick and Amber. This is us at the airport getting ready to catch our red eye flight from Salt Lake to New York and from New York to Florida.

We went on the Carnival Liberty and left from MIAMI. After 2 long flights and lost carry on luggage for the Winters we were on our way.

Meladie, me and Amber at the comedy show. They had the funniest comedians. We laughed so hard.

Formal night #1. This is the theatre were they had lots of shows and entertainment.

We played cards a few times.

Formal night #2. It was so fun to get dressed up for dinner.

Our first stop was in Cozumel Mexico. This is were Chad and Meladie caught up with their carry on luggage.

We went snorkeling there and the water was so amazing and clear. The fish were so awesome.

Cory found a Pepsi truck there and had to get a picture with it.

Our next stop was the Cayman Islands. It was beautiful there and so clean.

We rode a boat out to a sand bar and played with sting-rays. They were so big. The sting-rays would just swim up to us and we fed them and took pictures with them.

This guy dove down and brought up a star fish and some conk shells from the ocean floor. The water was like an aqua color and so warm.

Our last stop was Jamacia. It was so cool getting off the ship there. Everything was green and fresh.

We drove up a crazy scary narrow road through the city to the top of a mountain to zipline.

We went on 4 different ziplines. One was 1200 ft across the jungle. There was a swing that was so much fun too.

After the zipline we were taken to the Dunn's falls and hiked up them.

The whole trip was so amazing! The weather, food, entertainment and company was the Best!!!

The last night at dinner we took a picture with our awesome waiter Richard.

For Easter we went to Oak City and had a easter egg hunt with the Rogers side of the family. The weather wasn't great but that didn't stop us from having a great time!

That afternoon we went to the sand hills below Oak City and let the kids play and we rode 4 wheelers around. I took some fun pictures of people jumping off the edge of the dunes.

We had an Easter egg hunt with the Allred side the week after Easter....(It was kinda nice cause all the easter stuff was 75% off)

Pacen had a Birthday May 11th and turned 7....He's such a great kid and has done so good in school this year! We are so proud of him!

Well Jaxon's birthday was in February but I have been a slacker and loved this cake we made for his birthday. Jaxon turned 10...Yes 10 double didgets! He's a great kid and we are so proud of him!

March 5th was our Anniversary..12 Years!!!
We went to dinner and bowling.

For St. Patricks day I made the kids a Green Lunch with green pickles, green pudding, green rice crispy treats, great soda, and green apples.

At work me and the girls wore green bows in our hair and a patient made us the clovers to wear.

For dinner we had Green french toast, green scrambled eggs and green Koolaid. Gotta Love holidays!

So halloween is my all time favorite! I love parties and getting dressed up but hate being scared!
This year Britt and James had a party at their house but Cory couldn't go and neither could Britt. R's husband so we went together as Biggest Loser Contestests...We won Best Costume!

Then I had Bunko at my house and we dressed up for that too. I was the Progressive Girl Flo from the car insurance commercial.

Last weekend we camping over by Holden with my parents and my older brother and his family. We listened to Conference and went for 4 wheeler rides up the mountain.

Last week we went to the Tuachan theatre in St. George and saw Disneys TARZAN with our friends Nick and Joslyn. The play was so awesome. I just can't believe the effects and music and how talented people are to be able to sing and dance for such a performance!

School Started

Well maybe I should feel kinda sad school started but I'm not going to lie I'm not! My kids were ready and so was I! Its so crazy that our two oldest are in school full time this year. Its going to be alot easier on my daycare bill!

Jaxon is starting 4th grade and Pacen is in 1st. They both got really great teachers and I am so proud of them!

Brecken is still my baby and will always be! He's growing up so fast.

Beaver Mountain with Friends

Well the time has come and gone for the friend campout. This year we went to the Beaver mountains with the Winters and the Morris Families. The kids had a blast and so did we!

This year we celebrated Declans and Taivens birthdays with a Spongebob pinata and cupcakes. The kids painted shirts and we had a treasure hunt. They all got along really good.

This is Kents Lake where we camped and the sun setting....it was so pretty up there. We couldn't have asked for a better weekend.

Cabin Sweet Cabin

There's a pretty picture! This is the cabin we rented with Cory's Fam a week and a half ago. It was in Heber and was so pretty. We hung out on the deck and the boys even slept out there the last night. (Well most of it)

For dinner the first night we had a Luau. This is Grandpa and Grandma and some of the grandkids. This cabin had an upstairs and a downstairs. It was awesome inside.

Friday we took everyone to the Lake with the boat and rode the "Double Dog" that's what Cory is on in the picture and we skiied. The kids played in the water and we had lunch on the beach. It was such a fun day!

The kids had all kinds of activities..We painted shirts, had a fish pond, treasure hunt, and a pinata...Can't forget the Wii...I hope they had tons of fun!

Sunday on our way home we stopped at Payson Lakes and had lunch. It was so pretty there! This is Emmett, Pacen and Brecken...Love this pic!

24th of July Party

We had a family get together at my moms on the 24th of July. We had a firework show the night before!

The next day we went to the parade in Hinkley and got lots of candy. We went back to my mom and dads and had a yummy BBQ and an afternoon filled with lots of WATER!

This year we met for the Losee Reunion in Oak City. This is a picture of my Grandma and Granpa Losee... We are so lucky to have them around! They have both been in and out the hospital. They were troopers and camped the whole weekend in their trailer.

Its always fun to get together with cousins and family you don't see very often.

Great News!!! Corys brother Brook is getting married!!! We (Corys mom Ann, sister in law Shannon and sister in law Savannah) threw a bridal shower for his fiance a couple weeks ago in Oak City.

We are so excited to have another girl in the Rogers Family!!!

This year Jaxon is playing machine pitch and Cory and his friend Rick are the coaches for their boys. I just love watching them play. Their team is doing pretty good!

Jaxon must be learning something being raised at a ball park. He is a great ball player!

Yesterday me and the boys with the help of out neighbor who help cut the pipe for us, made these marshmallow shooters! Very easy and they can't really hurt each other. Even Brecken can do it. Let me know if you want instructions?

Schools out for Summer!

Wow another school year behind us. My boys had such a great year. They both had a blast learning and playing with their friends. This is Jaxon and a couple of his buddies at their 3rd grade swimming party.

Pacen had a super cute Kindergarten program that my parents were able to come down and watch. He did a good job and is such a funny little guy.

This weekend I took the boys out to three peaks and they caught two lizards that we now have adpoted. Pacen named them Sonic and Crazy? Boys are funny!!

Monday Cory was on call for his work so we couldn't go to far from home so we went up to a little lake and fished for a while. No luck on the fish but it was good to just go up to the mountains.

Mothers Day and Pacens Birthday

Sunday was Mothers day and I just wanted to post a little bit about my mom and Corys mom and what great moms they are! They have been so great and we love them to pieces. I hope they had a wonderful mothers day cause they deseve it.

Pacen turned 6 May 11. Pacen is such a fun little guy to have around and he is growing up so fast. He has done so well in kindergarten this year and developed such a loving personality! He does like to challenge me but I'm learining how to deal with it. He got a new bike!

He had his best friend Logan over and we painted noodles to make necklaces and played some games.

Pacen loves Pokemon cards so thats what kind of cake we made him. He is holding a card in his one hand of what it was supposed to look like. Love you Pacen

Quail Lake Camping

This past weekend we went camping down to Quail Lake with some friends. The weather was so perfect down there. We enjoyed the campground and going to the lake to fish and play in the water. Here's a view from our camp.

11 Great Years

Today March 5 is our wedding anniversary! 11 years.... I was going through pictures and thought I would post some of that special day.

This was everyone who attended the temple. Pretty awesome crowd!

Fun Filled Weekend

Yeah this was such a fun weekend! First of all the kids had Valentine parties at school and Pacen and me made this super cute Valentine box for school. The funnest part for them is looking through their valentines to see what they got.

That night me and Cory and friends went to out ward Valentines dinner and a Stake dance (pictures to come of that!)

Sunday night we had a little romantic dinner with kids? I guess thats what you call it? Anyways notice the beautiful flowers from my Valentine!

Monday was Jaxons 9th birthday! I know I know holy moly a 9 year old. He wanted a snake cake so this is what I came up with. He really liked it.

He had a party at Funtime Inflatables. If you haven't been there you need to go. The kids had a blast and I didn't have to mess up my house. Check out their website!

Tonight Jax has is Blue and Gold banquet for scouts and had to make a cake all my himself and decorate it. Its a PIZZA!

A crazy night at the ER

This year Cory decided to start to ref high school basketball. So last night me and the kids went in to watch Cory ref a game. I sat in the stands with the fans and listened in on what they had to say about the ref but they only said good things about him so he must be doing a great job!

Any way after his game we stayed to watch the Varsity game. The game went into overtime and the kids were running around playing. Well before the game got over Pacen came running to get me and said Jaxon was bleeding. I came around the corner to see blood running down his face. There were like 15 kids standing around him. He was running under the bleachers and had tripped and hit his head. So we loaded up and went to the ER to get him checked out.

He was so brave and didn't cry at all. He actually talked to the Dr. the whole time he was getting stitched up. The only thing that hurt was paying for it! Ha Ha good times!

Birthday fun and Frosty the snowman

For the month of January there are 5 birthdays in Cory's family including his. We have a party for all of them at the same time. Its almost like christmas again! I made the cakes and used my friends giant cupcake pan.

For Corys birthday he had several parties. The funnest one was this past weekend we went to a Jazz game and stayed at a hotel for a fun get away. He works so hard and deserved a fun birthday!

Today it snowed and snowed and is still snowing. I got off early from work and decided to be fun and go play in the snow with the boys. The snow was perfect for rolling so we made this giant snowman! The boys were excited I came out in my snow clothes.

So then I helped them make a snow fort. Jaxon made the inside into chairs and said it was the lounge. So fun! Cory came out and laughed and said "how old are you?" Your never to old to play in the snow!

Tubing Fun

Last week we went tubing with Nick and Jos and their girls. There wasn't much snow but it was just enough for a good time! Brecken and Taylor got brave enough to go down together.

Pre Christmas Party

This past weekend we went to my parents house and celebrated christmas early with them and my brothers and their families. It was a really fun time. We had a yummy lunch and then went down on the ice and skated, sledded and played a little hockey.

Pacen and Jaxon had never skated. They did pretty good other than a few bumps and bruises!

We did the Nativity Story and dressed up. My mom was the Angel!

We played lots of fun games that my mom had prepared like christmas memory and a gift unwrap game.

After all that my Dad handed out stockings that Santa had brought early! It was so much fun and just makes me even more excited for CHRISTMAS! Hope everyone is ready!

Thanksgiving

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving like we did. We started out having dinner at the Rogers house. We had a fabulous turkey dinner with all the sides and don't forget the PIE!

Friday we went up into the mountains with some of Cory's brothers and their families and cut down a lovely christmas tree. The kids had a blast having a snowball fight with their uncles and enjoying hot chocolate and donuts!

That night we met up with my family and went to the light parade, short and sweet is how I'll describe it! Cory and his brothers went to the BYU game on Saturday which ended with a win!

This is the finished project "OH CHRISTMAS TREE" I had lots of help decorating. It smells good and the kids love to water it! HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Bronco's vs Steelers

Last weekend Cory went on vacation with his brother Brook. They bought tickets to the Broncos/Steelers game in Colorado back in July. Cory is a huge Bronco's fan and Brook is a huge Steelers fan!

Cory said there were alot of Steelers fans there.

The team came out of the tunnel, I thought this was a way cool picture. This was Cory's first NFL game and probably not his last! They had a great time hanging out together even though the Bronco's lost.

Halloween 2009

Friday night we went to a Halloween Party but first we went to dinner in our costumes with Willy Wonka and her Oompa Loompa!

Me and Cory were escaped convicts. My mom made my costume for me. The party was so much fun, there were about 20 couples, we played really funny games and had yummy treats.

The kids had a great Halloween starting with school parties and a Halloween Carnival friday night.

Jaxon was a Knight in Shining Armor. (Thanks to grandma Bev!)

Pacen was a Black Widow (again Grandma helped with this one)

and Brecken wouldn't dress up but he let me draw a web on his face and wore his halloween shirt!

We went to a Trunk or Treat with some friends in town and the kids filled their buckets really fast.

We ended the evening with dinner and donut eating at our friends house! It was a very fun night. Now I need to hide all the Candy!!!

Last weekend we did our annual visit to the Paragonah Pumpkin Patch. The pickins were slim and the weather was chilly but it didn't stop us from finding some great pumpkins!

Deer Hunt Weekend

This last Saturday was the opening day for the Deer Hunt. Cory didn't get a tag so he took Jaxon and went with his brothers Jordan and Jared. They went to Beaver and had great success! Both of them got deer that morning and Cory and Jaxon were able to be there for the fun.

Jordan told Jaxon it was tradtion to rub the deer blood under your eyes after you kill one. Thus the picture with my sister in law's little brother and Jaxon and Jordan.

Jaxon was so excited that Cory took him to go with the guys. He even took him to get the food and treats before.

Deer Camp. Cory's parents, Savannah, Emmett, her little brother and my nephew Quincy also went friday night too! The weather was so great for them.

Fall Camping

This weekend we went to Holden Mountain to go camping with my family. Holden in just past Fillmore if your going North. It was so pretty with the fall leaves. Thats my dad and Brecken in front of our veiw from camp.

There was the coolest trail that was right by our camp and we rode 4 -wheelers on (thank you Jordan for the use of yours). It went way high and the views were amazing! There were several places you had to drive through a shollow creek that the kids loved.

Yummy Cookie Recipe

Joslyn wanted this recipe so I thought I'd share it on my Blog

Chewy Oatmeal Cookies

Beverly Allred

Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes

1/2 cup butter shortening

2 cups brown sugar

1 tsp. vanilla

2 eggs

1 tsp. soda

1/4 cup boiling water

1/2 tsp. salt

2 cups flour

1 1/2 quick cooking oats

1 cup chocolate chips

Combine shortening and sugar together and beat until mixed. Add vanilla and eggs, beat until light in color. Dissolve soda in water and add, add salt, flour and oats a little at a time and mix well. Add chips and stir.

Place on cookie sheet (I like to use parchment paper) and bake. Let cool a little before taking on the baking sheet.

Labor Day Weekend

Name this place....Yes its at the Zoo! Saturday we went up to the Hogle Zoo with my family. Its like a tradition to have your picture taken with your head in the lions mouth.

Brecken loved the zoo. He kept saying wook (look) at everything.

School and Soccer

Yeah School started! I know thats not very nice of me but its just that time. Jaxon started THIRD grade. I'm just not old enough to have a third grader!

Jaxon is such a great kid and he is going to awesome in third grade. He got the teacher he wanted so he's way excited.

Pacen will start Kindergarten this year. He doesn't start until after labor day so he is gettin anxoius to get going. He gets to ride the bus to and from school.

To make our life even a little more crazy the boys are both in soccer this fall. It wasn't to bad until they played at the time today and me and Cory were switching off watching games. Pacen wasn't to excited to play at first but he got the hang of it. Jax is a pro. He plays everyday at school! Good times

What do you get when you have 10 Adults 15 kids and a newborn?...Pretty much the funnest campout friend reunion EVER!!! Every year or so we try to get together with Cory's high school buddies and their families and go camping. This year we had quite a crew!

We went up to Kurtis Tophams family cabin and set up camp. There was Cory, Chad Winters, Rick and Rusty Morris and Kurtis Topham and all their families. We had a blast sittin around the fire talkin about all the good ol times! (Things you don't want your kids to know about! ha ha)

All the kids got along great. There is a tire swing you can hike up to in the middle of the trees.

The boys played horse shoes while the girls did a treasure hunt for the kids.

This is a picture of the heated game of pictionary...BOYS vs. GIRLS! There's a slight misunderstanding of who actually won this game.....But the Boys won the Final match even though I said Black hole first Kurtis!!!!

We had the kids paint shirts again and it was a hit! The kids all did such a great job and they turned out so awesome. Here's the final master pieces.

We ended the trip with a Pinata for the kids. Yeah more CANDY!

Cabin Getaway

Our weekend getaway in the mountains started last Thursday night. Cory's family rented a cabin up to Duck Creek. I should say a mini mansion. This place was unbelievable. There were fives bedrooms, a loft, a basement, big flat screen TV's, and all the other comforts of home!

Each meal one family would take turns fixing it. This is always fun because you only have to prepare one meal and then enjoy the rest.

Did I mention how much there was to do there? 4 wheeling, pool table, ping pong, a jetted tub, wild life including horny toads! We had a blast playing the Wii and x-box, games and just hangin out with everybody!

Losee Reunion

This last weekend we spent it camping up at Yankee Meadows with my mom's side of the family. The Lake was so pretty!

My uncle Roger brought his horse "Spiffy" up and we took turns taking kids for rides

My kids got to know some of my cousins kids and had a ton of fun building fires and running wild in the trees

Me and Cory went fishing friday night and caught 4 fish and we kept this one and cooked him! yum yum

We had a big dinner all together Friday night with everyone. It was so good! But camping food is always good!

Brecken turned 2 last Sunday. We had a party for him at my mom's and we made him a baseball cake. Brecken loves all balls and can't get enough of them.

Grandma and Grandpa Rogers gave him a t-ball set. He is really pretty good! He sleeps with a softball almost every night. Cory couldn't be more proud!

On his birthday I made him this Dinosaur cake. As soon as he saw it he said Whoa! and blew the candles out before we could sing to him.

Beaver Camping

Last weekend we went camping up the Beaver Mountains. We kinda had a rough start to the trip. Cory started his morning off by hitting a deer with his little pepsi truck but after a drug test in the afternoon we were off. The weather was great and it was so pretty!

Cory did some fishing in the creek. This little fish was a pet for a while but he caught a bigger one we cooked over the fire

We bought this game at Wally's world called ladder ball and it was so much fun! We had several little tournaments.

The best part was sittin around the camp fire and roasting marshmallow's. The food was fab and the company!

The trip home is a long story but an adventure... yes we made it home after 2 flat tires on the trailer between Beaver and the Panguitch exit, a trip back to Beaver to get new tires, and thanks to a truck drivers help!

Well last week wasn't a regular week for us! We went on a vacation! It started last weekend after we dropped the kids off with Grandma and Grandpa and headed to California with Chad and Meladie Winters. First night we went to an Angels baseball game. It was pretty exciting with extra innings.

The next day we went to Knottsberry farm and road tons of rides and ate the best Chicken Dinner ever! This picture is Cory, Meladie and Chad soaked to the bone but I had to take the picture cause I didn't get wet at all! It was a blast!

The next morning we boarded the Carnival Cruise ship. Me and Meladie had this great idea to make shirts that said 10 year annivesary hoping that we would possibly get upgraded to a better room...well no upgrades but pretty cute! The boys were standing by each other on the ship and me and Meladie were away from them when someone turned to the boys and said "10 years huh way to go?" and Cory's like oh not us with our wives! ha ha the shirts soon came off!

We had a day at Catalina island so we just wondered around and did a little sight seeing. The Winters went snorkeling but we couldn't brave the freezing water!

The entertainment was great and the food was even better! We had a great get away and thanks to the Grandma's and Grandpa's for watchin the kids for us!

Schools OUT

My kids were so lucky to have such great teachers this year! Pacen went to 3 peaks preschool and his teacher was Mrs. Walker. He learned so much this year and loved every day he got to go!

Weekend Camping

This weekend we went to Yankee Meadows to do some camping, us and a million other people!!!

Thursday night we took our trailer to save a spot for the weekend. Only to come friday to a city of trailers from Nevada camped on top of us! So we pulled out of that spot and found an even better one that worked out for us!

The Boys had a blast! Brecken started the trip off right with a little dirt right on his head! How could you get mad at that face?

This is the Lake, we tried fishing a few times but not alot of luck, thats why its not called catching!!

Saturday the Winters fam and the Morris fam came up to spend the day with us! Other than it rained the whole time on and off, we managed to play a few games and eat a yummy dutch oven dinner.

The kids made a hut to get out of the rain.

We came home Saturday night and headed back Sunday afternoon to spend one more night which was really fun! Hope everyone had a great wet weekend!

Pacen had a Birthday on Monday and turned 5!! He is our second son and is such a fun little guy to have in our family!

Pirates and Pizza

Saturday we took the kids to Pirate Island Pizza in St. George. It was a Pizza place kinda like Chuckie Cheese only Pirate themed. The pizza was really good and the kids loved how the place was decorated. All the workers were dressed like pirates and sometimes it sounded like it was raining and thundering.

Cory wore the pirate hat with the kids the whole time!

There was an arcade that you could buy tokens and play games to earn tickets. But of course no matter how much money you spend you never have enough tickets to get anything very cool.

Cory won big playing Deal or No Deal (with the pirate hat on). The weather was so nice down there, we went to the park after and got ice cream.

Don't push your Luck

So last weekend I was at my brothers house and we were playing basketball and he had to go check something so I saw my nephews skateboard and thought I can do that. So I started skateboarding around the driveway and was doing quite well. I should have stopped while I was ahead but no I pushed my luck and tried to go down a very simple ramp. SLAM...I was laying on the driveway on my side when Jax came around the corner and said, "MOM your to old to be doing that!"

Jeanette helped me x-ray my elbow at work and it looks ok but man is it sore! So yes I must be to old to be Skateboarding down ramps!!!

I thought the x-ray was cool though.

Hoppity Easter

We were in Delta for easter weekend. We colored eggs at Grandma's and then the next day my nephew Tyler was Baptized.

Later on Saturday it was raining outside so we had an easter egg hunt at my brothers house inside. Grandma put 5 bucks in some on the eggs. It was fun to be with the fam and see everyone.

Sunday we spent the day in Oak City with Cory's fam

Grandpa Rogers read the kids the Easter Story before we had our easter egg hunt out side. It was such nice weather and we just hung outside all day. The kids had a great time and I just love get togethers!

The best part is going through the eggs to see what is inside!!

Thursday after work Me and the girls I work with got together at Dianes house and had a craft night. She was so nice to share her house and the blocks with us. Her husband sanded them so we could paint them and I learned how to use vinyl on my cricket. It was fun to hang out after work!

Jaxon was baptized February 28th and Saturday his cousin Reilly was baptized. They were born a few weeks apart. It was very special to be there for her. His cousin Tyler is next!

Pinewood Derby

Yesterday Jaxon had his first pinewood derby in scouts. This car was cut out and shaped by Jax's uncle Von.

Then Jax picked the silver paint and stickers to decorate it. The theme was "When I grow up" so he said he wanted to be a bug scientist? Ok so we put spiders on it!

Jaxon won every heat that he raced in. I was so nervous cause we weren't sure how he would do? Well he loved every minute of it! And so did me and Cory we were just happy it went down without losing a wheel or anything.

Jaxon's car made it to the final four and he took 3rd and was so thrilled with the results.

10 years and counting

Yesterday was our 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!! Wow I just can't believe 10 years goes so fast. The day we were married it was a beautiful day! Its amazing how time flies and I look back at our adventures over the last 10 years and we have had an awesome time and I'm excited to have many many more!!! We are so lucky to have such great family and friends to share our life with and 3 awesome boys to raise. I am so lucky to have such a great husband!!

Today was a beautiful day!!!Yeah. So me and Joslyn packed a lunch and took our kids to the park to play. It was so nice to be out enjoying the weather. It will probably snow again but today was great.

Sunday was Jaxon's 8th birthday! I just can't believe how the time as flown by. He is such a great addtion to our family and an awesome big brother!

Jaxon has also started cub scouts. It was scout sunday so he wore his new shirt. He wanted a SpongeBob Square pants cake so I did the best I could.

He was excited how well it turned and I was even impressed!

For his party he invited a friend to the movies and we went to mall cop. I hope he had a good birthday and we just think he is super special! Happy Birthday bud.

Blinded by Love

Valentines Day was a great day!! Cory started the day off by sneaking off in the morning and bringing back some beautiful roses and a sweet card. And then we had a delicious heart shaped waffle breakfast!

Later that night me and Joslyn had a surprise date for the boys....

We blindfolded them with Joslyn's sweet homemade blind folds and drove them to our secret destination which was in Nick and Joslyn's camp trailer parked in her dad's hanger at the airport. We had went earlier and decorated the place.

We made a yummy dinner, cherry fresh limes and a fruit pizza for dessert!!

The guys seemed to have fun!! And thanks to my cousin Kristy for watching all 5 kids!! What a life saver...Hope everyone had a great one with their Valentine

What do you get when you have 8 adults, 12 kids, a big screen T.V. and alot of great FOOD???? Alot of noise, cheering, visiting and eating!!! Well sunday was the Super Bowl and we hosted a party with some friends. I didn't see much of the game but it sounded like a great one!

Yeah we definetely ate well thanks to everyone for bringing food.

Well Cory just couldn't stay away after last weekend so he planned a "GUY" trip today and he's such a sweetie to take pictures for me!..Well the above picture should make everyone that see's it very nervous! But don't worry they didn't fall in!!

It sounded like they had a Blast and couldn't keep the fish off their lines. Cory said between the 3 of them they caught like 80 fish!!! WOW I must not have been good luck.

It looks cold but he said the weather was perfect!

But don't worry me and the kids had a fun day too!! We went to the store to get ready for our SUPER BOWl party tomorrow and had lunch at their favorite place...Panda Express... couldn't complain!!!

Cory had a birthday Thursday. So that night we opened presents and went to dinner at Costa Vida and then Nick entered Cory in a birthday drawing for a cake and he won so we had cake and ice cream at their house after.

Well that was the beginning to a super weekend party!

Friday night we went tubing up at Brian Head with friends. We had never done this so we were super excited.

Then we spent the night at Dr. Whites cabin and had dinner and played games till the wee hours of the morning.

The next morning we had pancakes and bacon with the gang! After that Nick and Joslyn and me and Cory headed out to go ice fishing. We first went to Panguitch lake but no luck so we headed to Piute for a little lunch at a cute cafe and then hit the ice.

and look what I caught!!! Jos was the great photographer. Cory and Nick did pretty good too! Cory caught a whopper right before we left. It was a great weekend and thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Allred for watching the kids...We love ya!

Enjoying the SNOW

Tuesday afternoon Nick and Joslyn and their kids and our fam went sledding and snowmobiling up Cedar mountain. Nick borrowed Jos's dads snowmobiles and they pulled the kids around and then we sledded down the hills.

Christmas 08

This was our christmas eve party with the Winters family. We ate an awesome dinner and played games and acted out the Nativity.

Christmas morning was so awesome...I was awake at 6:30 just laying in bed waiting for them to wake up...Finally around 7:45 they came in to wake us. This was a fun year because the kids are at such a fun age!

They ran up stairs and were like wow he really came. Jax was so worried Santa wouldn't eat the cookies we made but he managed to come through!!!

Brecken was so happy with his pig from his stocking.

Jax and Pacen got a bike and a scooter. When my mom called to find out about our morning, Pacen said, "Grandma I got everything I wanted!" Guess he must have been pretty good.

I am so blessed to have such a great family and friends to spend the holidays with!

Tonight we were lucky enough to have a special visitor and his Elf come visit our house! How cool is that?

The two older boys were so excited to have Santa at our house. They jumped up there and told him what they wanted for Christmas.

Santa had a really nice Elf that gave out candy! Jaxon said he was the tallest elf that he had ever seen! NICE TIGHTS!
Brecken was not about to sit on his lap by himself so I jumped on too!

After they left Pacen kept saying, "Mom I'm never going to be afraid of Santa again!"

SNOW DAY

Last weekend for Thanksgiving we went to Delta and had dinner at the Palamor (an old gym) with 65 relatives from my moms side of the family..it was more like a buffet but it was fun to see everyone. Thursday was also my older brothers birthday and two of my cousins.

Christmas Lights

This weekend we had some fun company come down to hang out with us. Cory's parents, Brook and Jordan came friday night and stayed. Saturday we went to lunch and shopped the big WALMART and then they helped decorate the house with lights.

Yeah they even worked!!!

Later that evening we had a little birthday party for Jordan...The big 22!!! Happy Birthday

But the night turned out to be a little disappointing with the Cougars and Utes game....The Rogers are big BYU fans....anyway the game wasn't great but the food and company was!!!!

I haven't posted anything for awhile so I wanted to give a little update....Well with the ways things are with the economy we've had it impact our lives. I started working full time again to help out the dentist office and pay the bills at home. Its been kinda hard getting up earlier and getting home later but I have a really awesome and an amazing husband that has jumped in and helped pick kids up, babysitt neighbor kids, laundry, dinner and clean up. He works so hard to make it all work and I just really appreciate the help and support he is!!!

I'm grateful to have such a great family to come home too!!!

Halloween at its Best

This is Halloween night...the kids were so excited! Jax was a Ninja, Pacen was a Skunk and Brecken was an M&M.

At the end of our street the community holds a truck o treat and carnival with games and food. They had a pumpkin carving contest so I entered our Teenage mutant pumpkin ninja turtle...but no luck!

The kids at the carnival! They got plenty of candy to last a while.

Every year we have a grown up Halloween Party and this year I hosted the Great Event.
We had great food, fun people and great entertainment.

We played Rock Band and Wii sports, newly wed game and BINGO!

Pumpkins and cookies

Last night we got together with Nick and Jos and had home evening and carved pumpkins for our activity. Jos did this cute lesson on being kind and read a story about the halloween phantom. So later we took cookies to a neighbor and left them on his door step and hid. It was way fun! Jax thought we were crazy to hide in the dark.

Pacen dove right in and started to dig out the seeds and carve away!

Me and Jos carved spiders...hers looked better if I was judging.

Bunko and BYU

This was last months Bunko at Dee's house. I made the dice cakes for dessert that night!

We had our annual Halloween Bunko last night. Me and Joslyn in front of our new addtion to make the house spooky. Thanks to Cory!

Cory is a big BYU fan and has taken Jaxon and Pacen to a game. They had so much fun hangin with their dad and uncles! He is a great Dad and we all love him!!! Go cougars!!!

Deer Hunt 08

This past weekend was the deer hunt and my dad, brother and Cory had tags so we went over by Milford to try our luck...well we might have left with no deer from there but we sure had a good time!

Fall Softball comes to an end

This is Cory's Fall men's league team. They finished first!! Well they usually do but its always fun to go watch them and visit with the team wives. Way to go guys!

Now this is our Fall Co-ed team..."The Cavity Crushers!!" And Dr. White sponsered the team and bought the sweet shirts. The team is made up of Dr. White and his wife and alot of the girls I work with and their spouses and family and friends.

We had so much fun and did really good considering we had never played together before. We ended the season taking second in the league and after a fun three game show down last night we took second in the tournament. (thanks Nick and Jos for watchin the kids!)

Pumpkin Patch

Every year we have a tradition of going to the pumpkin patch and picking out our pumpkins.

We went with the Thueson family and had a really fun time.

Crazy weather Weekend

This weekend we went camping with our friends Nick and Joslyn and their kids. We went up to Yankee Meadows and knew the weather could be bad but we went anyway...Friday was so nice and the leaves were so pretty! We spent the night around the fire (that me and Jos started our selves) and then in the night it started to rain. And it rained all morning so after breakfast we tried to wait it out in our trailer.

But with 5 kids and 4 adults we got a little bored so we decided to go for a ride in their Yukon.

The ride started out pretty good but soon the rain turned to snow!!! Well we made it back to camp and decided to pack up and finish our weekend at our house with Joslyn's dutch oven BBQ chicken and potatoe salad, games and a mountain man breakfast the next morning... It was a fun adventure with crazy weather!

Fishlake in the Fall

This past weekend we went to Fishlake and stayed in some cabins with Cory's family.
This is the lake. The scenery was unbelievable with all the fall leaves!

Me and my sister in law Shannon always keep the kids busy with projects like these home made masks and then we sent them on a trick or treat treasure hunt...

And Grandpa had the final clue and when the kids figured it out he took off running and they chased him down.

We all gathered for the meals and took turns preparing them...always way good Food!

We also took the the boat and went for some rides and the boys did some fishing. We had a great time and the weather was perfect! I just love fall camping trips.

Our friends Nick and Joslyn bought Rock Band for the Wii and we just love it! Brook and Becky came over to rock out too!

So we did boys against girls....

Let's just say, us girls would make an awesome band! ha ha
