Fishlake in the Fall

This past weekend we went to Fishlake and stayed in some cabins with Cory's family.
This is the lake. The scenery was unbelievable with all the fall leaves!

Me and my sister in law Shannon always keep the kids busy with projects like these home made masks and then we sent them on a trick or treat treasure hunt...

And Grandpa had the final clue and when the kids figured it out he took off running and they chased him down.

Go Grandpa!


We all gathered for the meals and took turns preparing them...always way good Food!

We also took the the boat and went for some rides and the boys did some fishing. We had a great time and the weather was perfect! I just love fall camping trips.

Deep down I think we were meant to be Rock Stars....well you can at least pretend!!!
Our friends Nick and Joslyn bought Rock Band for the Wii and we just love it! Brook and Becky came over to rock out too!


So we did boys against girls....



Let's just say, us girls would make an awesome band! ha ha

A peek into the PAST!!

So I was going through some dance pictures and found a couple that I just had to stick on here. This is Cory's high school prom! I love the hair cuts and the serious faces...What a cool bunch of guys!





And WOW this was my sophmore swing so like 1994-95. This was when E.N.U.F and BUM equipment and those kind of shirts were in...and oh and the permed hair, thats HOT!!!

A Fun Filled Day

Last Saturday we started the day by going to the Great American Stampede Rodeo Parade down main street in Cedar. The kids were a little confused because there was only people on horses in the Parade. The highlight was the famous Budweiser horses, they were so big!



After the Parade we headed up to Brian Head to have a staff party at Dr. Whites cabin. Everyone from work came with their families. The food was killer and we rode 4-wheelers and the kids had a pinata! It was fun to hang out outside of work.

Last weekend we made a trip up north and went to the BYU football game. Cory and his brothers get season tickets and then swap some so us girls get to go if we are lucky enough! So Me and Cory, Jared and Savannah and Brook and Jordan cheered them to a WIN! The kids stayed at my mom's while me and Cory stayed up there at his brothers house. Sunday they brought the kids up and we went to my little brother's baby blessing. They blessed their first little boy, Jeffery Drew Allred. He's so cute!

After that we stayed in a hotel in Sandy and went swimming with cousins Ty and Kenna

Monday morning we were all going to go to the zoo but there was a huge storm so we headed to the Dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point

We had a good time...These are the sweet glasses we wore for the 3D movie!!!
